The DACHSTEINHOF has a total of 35 beds.
The rooms of private guest houses often reveal the owners’ distinctive taste. As we only took over the Dachsteinhof in October 2018, the rooms still bear the signature of the previous owner. However, we appreciate the style, which on the whole overlaps with our own style: simple rather than fancy and timeless rather than trendy.
Smoking is not allowed in any part of the guest house or in the rooms, only on the balconies.
For guests in our apartments we offer bun-service for extra charges.
Number of guests: max. 5 people
Our apartment Sinabell is cosy and spacious, with two double rooms, a combined living room / kitchen and a pull-out sofa bed. The balcony faces the South. One of the two bathrooms has a shower. For very cold days there is an electric heater in addition to the radiators. The wooden flooring has seen better days – one reason why this apartment is ideal for dogs. Sinabell is the only apartment with a separate entrance outside of the guest house. The entrance is to the left of the main front door on the ground floor, just a few strides away from the carpark.
Number of guests: max. 6 people
The Dachstein apartment is situated on the second floor and is the most frequently booked accommodation in the house. It contains a spacious living room / kitchen and two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The apartment has a connection to our double room “Hunerkogel” and together these rooms offer accommodation for a maximum of 9 people at a squeeze. Dachstein offers two balconies, one to the South / South-West and the second to the North.
Number of guests: max. 4 people
Eselstein is a popular small and snug apartment on the first floor, with a balcony to the North-West. Unlike Sinabell, the floor in Eselstein was replaced a few years ago. Eselstein is somewhat smaller than Sinabell and has just one separate bedroom. The second bedroom is situated at one side of the combined kitchen / dining / living area.
The guest house offers 5 standard rooms. Our room “Scheichenspitze” (25m²) with its 3 beds is the largest. Scheichenspitze is the only room without a balcony and with 3 beds. The other rooms mainly have a pull-out sofa bed.
The guest house offers 2 superior rooms on the first floor. The exclusive furnishing was lovingly selected by the former owner. The four-poster beds have two duvets and are 1,6 m in width.
